Quick Player

 

If you don't want to be disturbed by any windows while working, or if you're already bored of clicking around forever to play your favourite song, you can use Quick Player. With this program, you only need one keyboard shortcut. You can set your top 10 favorite songs or addresses to Internet radio (the program supports a wide range of file formats from MP3, WAV, WMA to MIDI to AU or SND, or you can play Internet radio or other forms of streaming audio). The program, if you wish, starts at Windows startup and runs in the system tray next to the clock, so it doesn't interfere with anything. Now just use the keyboard shortcuts (ALT + 0-9, the numbers are not the ones on the numeric keypad, but above the letters) any time you're working, and? do anything, the files will launch. Songs can be paused by simply clicking on the program icon - clicking again resumes playback.
