Process Commander 2006

Process Commander 2006 is an advanced and easy to understand application that takes the best of its predecessors (Process Commander 2.5 was a great success, for example in Chip magazine).

Process Commander 2006 provides:

Process Viewer
The process viewer gives you a perfect overview of all running processes ( programs ).

Windows Startup Programs
Provides a complete list of all applications running after Windows starts. It allows you to edit and monitor them.

Process Logger
Collects information about process activity and stores it in a database. It then provides the possibility of their administration and statistics.

Process Library
A database of information about about 3,5OO of the most common processes. so you can find out what a process is for, if it is dangerous and much more.

Exporter
Provides all other units with an export of data to various document types.

Each unit is developed separately so they have their own versions etc. Process Commander of course provides clear tools for administering and updating the units or itself.

Process Commander 2006 is based on the kernel-unit model. This means that the features and capabilities of this application are fully extensible and customizable. You as the user choose the units whose functions you are interested in and nothing more. This saves valuable computing power and gets rid of information you are not interested in.

The application is distributed as freeware. You can use it without time limit. The non-activated version has some functional limitations, namely:

- the Exporter unit is not available ( so data export is not available )
- units cannot be installed or uninstalled
- updates are not available
- password security is not available
