It has a strategy to generate statistics based on the active window's title, i.e. header. Depending on the application, the header will include the document title, web page, email subject or other detailed information about the actual action performed.

In addition to compiling a rich application usage history, ActivTrak provides powerful tools for real-time monitoring of user sessions. You can view the current activity of many or all of your users on one screen at the same time.

Setting up alerts
You can also set up alerts to notify you of unusual user activity, record idle time independent of screensaver activity, send messages or open chat sessions with users, and more.

There is also the ability to use the network operating system authorization system to secure ActivTrak access and invoke workstation control functions - lock, unlock, logout, shutdown, reboot.
