Privacy Guardian

The program offers two main functions. The first is to remove traces that are created by your work on the computer and the Internet, and the second is to securely delete files.

Privacy Guardian can remove basically all traces of your online activities such as cookies, data stored in browser caches or saved and undeleted temporary files. The program supports the removal of traces left by Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla Firefox and Opera, as well as other programs such as Kaaza, ICQ or iMesh. Off-line activity traces that the program removes include deleting document history, working directory temporaries or trash.

The second functionality is securely deleting files so that they cannot be recovered. This is done by simply dragging the file onto the shredder icon.

The operation of the program is simple and it performs its function without any problems and reliably. Only for the erase function, perhaps it would be useful to integrate it into the system under the context menu.
