But what would have happened if the Sacred Truce had never been signed? In the past, this "what if?" question could have become a painful reality ? the Elven King has steadfastly refused to sign the truce. His daughter has disappeared!

The ruler himself believes that she has been taken by one of the alien races, and is therefore determined not to forgo the opportunity to strike the culprit with an iron fist. But what if a perpetually drunk guard is right ? and the princess has simply fled to her beloved? Both are possible. So there's nothing to do but investigate further and make sure the princess is alive and well.
