PIM

PIM is an application that you can use to compress files in the simplest way possible. The program interface consists of a standard window in which you have several options. To create a new archive, you need to specify an output name and a destination. Files and folders can be imported into the new archive using the file browser or the drag-and-drop method. You can check the name, size, packed size and method of each file in the list. You can easily extract content from archives, test the integrity of the archive, select a compression method (filters can be optionally enabled) and set file associations (e.g. ZIP, ZAR).

The program uses a high amount of system CPU and memory when busy with a task, and low resources otherwise. No help file is provided, but this is because PIM is extremely easy to use by persons of any experience level.
