Photo Gallery Creator

The program is used for easy creation of image galleries for web or PC viewing.

Installation:

• using the self-installation package
• option to create a desktop icon
• option to create a folder in the "Programs" menu
• the program allows to install .NET Framework 2.0
• .NET Framework 2.0 if you don't have it on your PC, you can download it from this server and install it before installing the program - recommended

How to use the program:

First of all, it should be noted that this version of the program is a test version and works only with *.JPG format images - *.jpg, jpeg, png and viewing was tested on versions of the following browsers:
"Opera 10.xx", "Firefox 3.xx" and "Internet Explorer 8.xx"

After installing the program, you should find it integrated into the "Explorer" menu, that is, if you right-click on a folder icon then a menu will appear and in it you should find the "Photo Gallery" item. When you click on this item, the application will already start. The program has a simple dialog so you won't miss the "OK" button and that is enough to create a gallery for viewing on your PC or your website.

The gallery will be created in the folder that was clicked on and will have the ending -gallery while the original images will remain unchanged in the folder.
In the top text box of the application, enter the name of the page for the internet, i.e. without diacritics, dashes, etc. The program will create a name for the web from the folder name, but there may be errors so check the name and edit if necessary.

Next, type in the textbox labeled Title - the name for the title tag , it can also be accented. This title will also be the h1 tag at the top of the page.

You can also put text in the textbox that describes the gallery content.

Then you can press the OK button. You will be informed about the progress of the action in the bottom editor. Once the gallery is created, a messagebox will appear with a notification.

Now you can open the folder with the images and the finished project should be created there. You can still edit the page styles in a styles/style.css
Open the page in your browser and check that everything is working.

Open the gallery by clicking on one of the thumbnail images. To move around the gallery, either click on the right , or left half of the image with the mouse, or use the right, left arrow keys.

You can now upload the gallery to your server.

Uninstallation:

• The installer creates an exe file that uninstalls the program when run.
