Your task is therefore to hit the ball. The first player who does not hit the ball loses and the opponent gets a point. The first player to reach a certain number of points (depending on the settings in the menu) wins.

Unlike classic pong, however, there is a word game factor involved. Different letters fly across the centre of the screen and you can hit them with the ball. If you do so, the letter you hit will be placed in the tray on the right side of the screen. For every word you make, you get a bonus. Depending on the length of the word, you will get
the appropriate bonus:

A 2-letter word -> increase the size of the bat
A 3-letter word -> decrease the size of the opponent's bat
A 4-letter word -> a protective bar that always hits the ball.

Hit letters, however, always go to the player who last hit the ball with the bat. So if the ball bounces off the guard rail and then hits a letter, that letter will belong to the opposing player.
