Oolite

Oolite is inspired by the 8-bit gaming, simulation classic, so many aspects of the game will be familiar to players of "Elite". In the tradition of open-world games, there is no overall story and that means: you can be a millionaire trader, a veteran combater, a feared pirate, a lone miner, a renowned smuggler or someone else entirely, based on your own actions. One of the most important aspects of Oolite is customization: almost every part of the game can be changed with simple text and graphics tools, and more than five hundred datadecks are available ranging from minor tweaks such as a new ship or alternate sound effects.
