myPopupXP

A simple messenger for MS Windows local networks, this is myPopupXP. With myPopupXP you can easily send and receive text messages between users on your network.

It is so easy to use that any user can handle it. myPopupXP is not overloaded with features that make it cluttered. It tries to accomplish a single task - to send and receive messages conveniently and clearly.

For more experienced users, it offers command line messaging. This allows you to deploy myPopupXP in batch jobs and can completely replace the messenger installed in Windows.

myPopupXP can "force" itself to the foreground when a message arrives, even if you have DOS programs running. This way you won't miss any messages. In its idle state, on the other hand, it doesn't take up space in the task manager bar - it waits patiently for the message to arrive in the system tray, where it is displayed as a small icon.
