Minisign

Minisign is a simple tool for signing and verifying files. It uses Ed25519, a public key system, so you don't need any additional software or configuration.

To create a key pair, run the following command:

"minisign --gen-key"

This creates a public key (`minisign.pub`) and a secret key (`~/.minisign/minisign.key`). You should keep the secret key safe because it allows you to sign files.

To sign a file, run the following command:

"minisign --sign"

This creates a file signature (`.sig`) on the file. The signature can be used to verify the integrity of the file.

To verify the signature of a file, run the following command:

"minisign --verify .sig"

If the file is intact, the command prints "Valid signature". If the file is corrupted, the command will print "Invalid signature".

Minisign is an easy-to-use tool for signing and verifying files. It is ideal for use with Git, which uses minisign to sign repositories.
