You can scan the LPT port manually using the spacebar or automatically by entering the scan period time and using the enter key to start the process. Pressing the enter key again will terminate the scanning process and display the data read from the serial port. You also have the option to search the data, looking for the leading or trailing edges of a particular PIN or PIN group, either forwards (with increasing time) or backwards. You can then save the data to disk in binary or text form. For easier analysis, there is a magnifying glass and four tabs in which you can save the selected location and use this to measure how long a particular segment took. Right-clicking over the samples brings up a context menu where you can save and load data from a file. The program analyzes the data during the loading process and if it decides that it does not know the format being loaded, it deletes all samples saved so far from memory and stops processing the file further.
If you do not delete previous samples during loading, it will merge with the loaded samples.
The green color draws the samples that the PC sends and the red color draws the samples that the device connected to the LPT port sends.
The graphic shows the data as it is on the LPT port connector itself (some are hardware inverted. They are marked with ?/?.) at a given time. The file stores the data as it is read from the parallel port.
When you minimize the program an icon is displayed in the SysTray.

LogAnalyzer v 2.0. is not installed, the archive is just distributed to the appropriate location and run from there. After running, the program automatically registers the *.HCS extension.
