ipPulse

ipPulse is an application that can monitor network devices to get notifications about connectivity problems. It tests the connectivity of IPv4 devices (computer, router, switch, printer) in any IPv4 network. There are several tests to choose from. The primary test consists of pinging the target device and waiting for a response, or connecting to a TCP port. The secondary test has multiple modes. With these, you can connect to a TCP port to verify the connection, use SNMP (v1, v2c) to detect network interface problems, verify the web server status code, or check the visibility of a particular text string on a page.
