HDD Temperature

A single-purpose utility for monitoring the temperature of your hard drive. It runs in the background indicated by an icon in the system tray, and displays a warning message if the disk temperature rises above a set limit.

To monitor the temperature, HDD Temperature uses S.M.A.R.T. technology, which virtually all current hard drives are equipped with.

The recommended operating temperature for hard drives is between 35-40°C, if it increases then the likelihood of data loss increases.
