Frontline Kursk

A strategy not unlike Blitzkrieg 2, focusing on one of the most significant battles of World War II on the Eastern Front, which took place at Kursk in 1943. The game is based on two planes - global strategy and real-time combat.

In the strategic level, you'll have an overview of what's happening on the front, choosing missions and manipulating units. Once you enter a mission, however, you're in for some real-time strategic hell, with gameplay very similar to the Blitzkrieg series.

Each mission is the equivalent of one part of the Battle of Kursk, and you will have approximately the same amount of units at your disposal as both sides actually had. The game is based on the Enigma 3D engine, which was originally developed for Blitzkrieg 2, and has been improved several times in the interim, especially in terms of greater destructibility of objects and terrain, and new visual effects have been added.
