TIP FREE
FreeMorphing is a program for the gradual transformation of one image into another, called morphing, it's a popular thing for fun and spicing up websites.
The most important thing to use FreeMorphing correctly is the appropriate selection of images to transform. Of course, the program will create a transition from anything to anything, but if you have both a quality result and an undisturbed and smooth transition at heart, you need to choose and edit carefully. The basic requirement is that both images must be the same size and 24 bit color depth. You then designate one as the source and the other as the destination within the application. It is also important that the objects in the image are placed in as similar a position as possible (left, center) and fill roughly the same image content (across the entire image, only one part of it). In the case of trying to reimagine photos of two people, it is important that their faces are photographed in a similar position and from the same angle. This will ensure a quality transformation that doesn't just look like a simple blending of one image into another. After selecting the images, the next step is to add lines that serve as clues for the application. The application will follow them, so in the case of transforming a photo of a person, it's a good idea to place the lines in the source and target images on the same areas of the face. This way, you can delineate the contours of the face, mark the position and location of the mouth and eyes, etc. However, the more lines, the more accurate the calculation and the better the transformation. Paradoxically, I've managed to get better results several times with just two lines than with fifteen. Inserting lines is also the only work with images. Any other adjustments and settings of it in the application are not possible. So the photos need to be prepared appropriately outside of this program. The next step is already to determine the number of images from which the sequence is to be formed, and then to specify its creation. The number of images primarily affects the transformation time. The smoothness of the transformation is not much improved by this. The last step in the program concerns the output of the whole work. You can save it in several formats, with moving GIFs and AVI video making the most sense. There is no problem with motion graphics. It's a bit more complicated with video settings and compression choices. The result is not always what you expect. If only because the orientation is impaired by an insufficiently large window that cannot be expanded.
