Free HDD LED

Free HDD LED is a free tool that shows you the status of your hard drive activity in the Windows notification area. You can use it to see when your hard drive is busy and to identify the drives that are most active.

Free HDD LED is very easy to use. After installation, the program icon will appear in the Windows notification area. The icon is green when the hard drive is idle, and red when the hard drive is busy.

You can also click on the Free HDD LED icon to see a list of active drives and their usage percentage.
