Emsa DiskCheck

 

Emsa DiskCheck is a dual-use tool for checking/scanning disks and also for benchmarking. It scans/reads the entire contents of a disc (DVD, CD, or HDD/SSD/SD card/USB flash drive etc) and displays any read errors that may occur. It also displays run speed information, progress statistics, etc.

You can use it to perform a full disk check on the surface of any CD or DVD, for example if you have just scratched the disk and want to see if it is still readable, etc. It also provides benchmarking, easy speed comparisons via ? speed multiplication factor, under real-world conditions.

Emsa DiskCheck has been designed with simplicity and user friendliness in mind.

Installation Notes:
This product requires the VB6 runtime. It is already installed on most Windows systems (XP and above). However, if you get error messages when running the program after installation, download and install the Microsoft runtime (1 MB). Restart on demand.
