DrawPile

DrawPile is a tool that allows multiple users to draw on one canvas at the same time. It is useful for collaborative graphic design, web pages, etc. Hosting of drawing sessions is done using the built-in server or using a dedicated server. Using the record function, the entire session can be recorded, later played back or exported to video. Drawpile also has basic support for creating short animations using layers.

It supports the OpenRaster image file format and works well with applications such as MyPaint , Krita and GIMP.

Drawpile provides a wide range of tools to help manage sessions:

• Lock or mute individual users
• Lock individual layers or allow access for a specific user
• Limiting certain application functions, such as uploading images, managing layers, and creating text fields
• Passwords protect sessions and set limits on the number of users
• Session templates provide always available sessions for dedicated servers
