The main objective of Dots And Boxes:

Players progressively color the edges and score points for each closed wall. In the end, the player with the most points wins. Up to four players can play against each other, the maps are not just square but virtually arbitrary, edges can be pre-coloured, scores can be calculated in different ways, etc. You can even make your own maps. The artificial intelligence works on three levels.
