Death to Spies

Death to Spies means Smersh in Russian and is the name of a section of the Soviet Army's counter-intelligence department that was created during World War II. Its mission was to ensure the security of the state and apprehend traitors, spies and criminal elements in the background of the active Red Army. During the war, agents of this department became the main fighting force of the German intelligence service. The main character of the game is the captain of the fourth section of the Soviet counter-intelligence service. He is a professionally trained spy who independently solves dangerous operations. During missions, he performs individual tasks in the heart of enemy territory, which include stealing important documents, eliminating the number of lower and high officials in the service of the enemy, kidnapping and sabotage. The game's missions are based on actual historical events and operations that were accomplished by wartime espionage and counterintelligence during the war.
