Cyklotrasy

Imagine a program to which you give (from a map or list) a starting place, several passing places and a finishing place. You choose search criteria, such as the type of road surface, and let the program generate your own route. You can follow its progress on the map, itinerary, graphical elevation profile and statistics.

The program provides you with a range of information such as altitude, geographical location, detailed text and photographs for major sites, section lengths, road numbers, cycle route numbers, surface types, hiking and cycling signs. For routes, it is possible to see their total length, elevation, and for prepared routes, the difficulty and type of suitable bicycle. The elevation profile, map, itinerary and statistics can be printed on a printer. The appearance of the elevation profile and map can be modified in various ways via settings. The profile and map can be exported in graphic format or as a web page. The route itinerary can be exported to a CSV file and navigation formats GPX, KML, KMZ, PLT and WPT. The user can keep a log of their routes, including monthly, yearly and total mileage and average speed statistics. Currently, the program contains dozens of maps, located mainly in the Czech and Slovak Republics. The creation of the maps is divided among the so-called administrators, who publish updates of their maps once a year (these can be downloaded free of charge from the program's website).
