Color Picker

 

Color Picker is an application designed for web designers to easily retrieve colors from any window on the current screen. The program window can be grabbed with the mouse cursor and moved around the screen. You can still see the pixel color code on the bar in the middle of the window, which is just in the middle of the focuser on the left side of the window. The color code is displayed in hexadecimal for straightforward use in CSS files. For primary colors, the color name is used instead of the code, and for safe colors, their abbreviated notation is displayed. On high-resolution monitors it is quite difficult to hit a specific pixel with the mouse, so the program allows you to move the window and the arrow keys on the keyboard. Each keystroke moves the window one pixel in a given direction. The code of the selected color is copied to the clipboard either by clicking on the color bar or the expected Ctrl+C keyboard shortcut.
