CabPack

CabPack is an application for creating compressed .CAB files, so-called cabinet files developed by Microsoft, primarily for installation packages. The algorithm is optimized for the most efficient compression of files containing machine code (executables and standalone libraries), but it also achieves very good results for text files. On the other hand, it is not suitable for compressing multimedia files. Another advantage of this compression format is that it can be unpacked in every version of Windows, and its support is in every version of Windows system.
