AnyTXT Searcher

 

AnyTXT Searcher allows you to full-text search the content of documents on your computer, similar to Google Desktop. By default, it searches the contents of files:

• Plain text (txt, cpp, html, etc.)
Microsoft Outlook (eml)
• Microsoft Word (doc, docx)
• Microsoft Excel (xls, xlsx)
• Microsoft PowerPoint (ppt, pptx)
• Portable Document Format (pdf)

You can manually configure other file extensions and if the program doesn't find anything you can manually add other folders to be searched for a given file type. It is a pity that the program cannot yet search for content with Czech characters.
