Supports CD/DVD booting in Acronis OS Selector
Once the boot media is inserted, it will be displayed in the boot menu among other possible operating systems. The CD/DVD may contain an operating system or a boot program.

OS Detection Tool
The OS Detection Tool allows you to find and then manually add unwanted removed operating systems to the boot menu. If an operating system is not automatically detected on a newly mounted disk, you can use this tool to add it manually.

New bootable media builder
With the new bootable media builder you can create bootable media for all Acronis products installed on your computer, or even create bootable media for multiple products! It also supports the creation of bootable ISO images to hard disk and saving them to a PXE server.

Ability to set a second disk as bootable
After connecting a second HDD that contains the operating system, Disk Director Suite 10.0 offers the option to choose which disk you want to boot/run the system from.
