The program can store your WWW pages in compressed form and yet always ready for alternative viewing. How does the whole thing work? When you click on the compressed file in which the pages are located, the program starts and decompresses the data in the system memory. You can then access these pages using your web browser. ZippedWeb acts like a classic web server, meaning that your pages can be seen by anyone connected to your computer via a network. It uses a compression similar to the ZIP format, which can do wonders for the final size of a given page. This program can be used for web presentations, for storing pages for quick viewing. It also allows for content encryption and now the creation of so-called self-extracting (SFX) archives.
