Zero Assumption Recovery

Zero Assumption Recovery ( ZAR) can recover data from a destroyed hard drive to another recording medium (most often another hard drive). The program can recover data from both FAT16/32 and NTFS (including NTFS5). The program supports long and national file names and NTFS compression.

Typical examples for data rescue are accidental disk format, crash due to virus or malfunctioning software, power failure or as a side effect of overclocking, etc.

The program does not need to be installed before data loss. In the DOS version, you can restore the logical partitioning of a corrupted disk.
