Audio recording
A simple tool to quickly start recording audio. For example, when listening to internet radio, you can start recording the audio you are listening to into a file with a single mouse click or keyboard shortcut (responsive no matter which application is currently active).

The app has an icon in the notification area that it "hides" into when the window is minimized.

Recording can be started by selecting the appropriate item from the context menu next to the icon in the notification area, or from the main application window menu.

It is also possible to set up a keyboard shortcut to start the recording, which is always "active" regardless of whether the program window is displayed and which application is currently in the foreground. It is also possible to set the record to start by left-clicking on the icon in the notification area.
