WinLock - Budvar

 

WinLock is a simple utility that uses registry settings to enable or disable automatic password entry when a user logs in. You can then use a desktop shortcut to lock or unlock the user account with a single click. Note that the user password that is used for automatic login is stored in the registry UN-encrypted. The goal of WinLock is just to replace the various screensavers with the password. The advantage of WinLock, however, is that until the password is entered, the user account is passworded even after the computer is restarted, and most importantly, it is not a program running in the background, but merely a login customizer and desktop shortcut.
