Windows Desktop Locker

 

This app is therefore useful if you are often away from your PC. It prevents other people from looking into your computer and thus accessing your data. Just click on "Lock desktop" and your computer is protected. Now even restarting the PC does not help, because the F5, F8, ... keys are deactivated (in case of starting the PC in an emergency state) and the desktop is locked again when Windows is booted. It follows that after locking the desktop, there are only two ways to get into the PC: with a password or with a boot floppy!
