WIDI Professional
The main function of WIDI is the conversion of polyphonic digitized music (audio file) to MIDI file with the possibility to perform this conversion in real time.

WIDI Professional includes a special MIDI editor "True Tone Editor".

Music can be represented in two different forms:

• Waveform - recording the waveform of sound pressure over time (tape recording, WAV or MP3 file, etc.) In this case, we hear what was recorded. Many instruments and sounds that sound simultaneously overlap each other. Consequently, editing such a recording (changing notes, changing arrangements, etc.) is virtually impossible.
  
• Music notation - printed sheet music, MIDI files, are practically a list of commands that specify what note, by what instrument, is to be played at a particular moment. This way of recording music is easy to edit and generally takes up much less space (in terms of data) than the previous case. Although not every sound can be recorded this way (human speech, noises, etc.).

Music recognition is a special, serious, mathematical task that has no universal solution, yet the WIDI recognition system, using a modern algorithm, offers you to process even polyphonic songs with sufficient accuracy. The variety of settings gives you the possibility to make the program recognize different musical styles and instruments.

WIDI is a multifunctional application that includes such functions as a music recording program, windows for displaying the sound progression, a special note editor (only in the professional version) and others that allow a visual comparison of the spectrogram of the recorded original music and the result obtained after recognition by WIDI.

The WIDI program supports uncompressed WAV, WMA, MP3 files, CD tracks and even audio coming from a microphone, without the need to record to a file (real-time recognition).
