Videotheque Datales is a program designed to keep track of DVD recordings for home use. With regard to the expected use for home video libraries (approximately up to 10 thousand records), the XML database format was chosen. The program contains detailed help. The principle of recording is based on automatic assignment of a number to each new recording. DVDs are marked with this number. The application allows generating reports so that printed catalogues can be created.
