Using the mouse, you control a white ball, which is a kind of cursor that you use to slap the surface of the game board, changing the direction of the balls depending on how close the ball is to the center of the slap. If the ball is close to the slap, it will lose some of its energy. So you have to direct the balls so that they suck up their colours by hitting the coloured cubes, which replenishes their energy.

The game ends the moment one of the balls runs out of energy or runs off the board, which gets a bit leaky in later levels. To keep the game from being too easy, you need to calm the balls down a bit by slapping the surface a bit in front of them in the direction of movement. The balls actually speed up a little on each bounce, and it doesn't take long for them to have enough speed to run off the board. You can also use a small save, which will stop all the balls in their tracks instantly, but will take a full quarter of their energy.
