This program allows you to easily convert MPEG-1/2 format video to DVD, which you can then play on your home DVD player. It includes, among other things, a built-in video editor that allows you to make edits without re-encoding or loss of quality.

The program's user interface uses a five-step approach where you select the source video file, edit it if necessary, and have the option to create a chaptered DVD menu.

The result is burned to DVD (if you have a DVD burner and version 1.6) or an ISO image of that DVD is created for later burning. TMPGEnc DVD Author supports multiple audio tracks and includes burning software.
