This software allows users to recover files lost in various situations such as deletion, formatting, corruption, etc., from all types of Windows storage media such as hard drives, SSDs, SD cards, USB drives, and optical drives such as CDs, DVDs, etc.

The Premium edition brings all the features of the Professional edition, including data recovery from malfunctioning or crashed Windows computers and disk monitoring.

It also adds recovery support for SOWT and TWOS codecs. It offers a redesigned user interface that is more interactive and simplifies navigation. Introduces three new themes, Vibrant, Light and Dark, to meet users' visual needs. The update adds the ability to "On the fly" create Classic and File Type trees while scanning, allowing users to preview and save without waiting for the scan to complete.
The updated Drive Monitor module provides a graphical display of real-time storage drive information such as SMART information, drive status, temperature and more. It also provides a short self-test and an extended self-test to check other important parameters such as electrical components, sector scan, read elements, power-on time, etc.

Users also have the option to save the SMART parameter graph as a JPEG image. With Stellar Data Recovery Premium, users have the additional option to upgrade their license to "Technician" or "Toolkit" directly from the software.
