StarStaX

StarStaX allows you to merge a series of photos into a single image using different blending modes. It is developed primarily for the Star Trail Photography program , where the relative motion of stars in successive images creates structures that look like star trails. In addition to star trails, it can be very useful in more general image blending. The program can handle tasks such as noise reduction or synthetic exposure enhancement. StarStaX has advanced features such as interactive gap filling and can create an image sequence of the blending process that can easily be converted into a great looking time-lapse video.
