STA Effects

Even those who can't afford to buy high-end tube processors can give their recordings the juice and natural warm sound they need. The STA Effects package includes six effects that simulate tube circuits:
Preamp / Delay / Chorus / Flanger / Enhancer / Phaser

Audified STA Effects adds non-linear distortion to the signal, resulting in a simulation of an "old school" tube sound. The effects are primarily designed to be used on advertisements. They can combine a "dry" (i.e. undistorted) sound with a distorted sound, but they also offer a "wet only" option, which makes them suitable for use in the soundboard.

A second generation of these effects is now available, based on a single STA Preamp that has five types of saturation circuits.

• P - Presence ? offers more upper midrange
• V - Vintage ? offers softer highs and more harmonics
• B - Brown ? an almost flat effect with a subtle accentuation of the higher frequencies
• W - White ? has a higher amount of treble and a balanced ratio between harmonic frequencies
• L - LoFi ? has a smaller amount of high and low frequencies .
