SPRINX PTimer

Do you need to know how long it took you to complete a project? The PTimer tool allows you to track not only the time spent on individual tasks, but also the time spent on individual activities that are tied to the completion of tasks. You can measure exactly how many minutes/hours you spent on the project on the phone, writing emails, creating graphic designs and many other activities that you define. PTimer can be used standalone, while it can also be linked to the popular CRM solution SprinxCRM.

Projects
Each subtask can be part of a larger project. PTimer includes a clear tree structure that not only makes it easy to navigate and quickly find the task/project you need to work on, but also allows you to see information separately for individual tasks and projects. This makes it easy to see how much time it took to solve subtasks and entire projects.

Tasks
The user can create any number of projects and tasks in the main application window. Using the buttons, he can then switch between tasks to indicate which task he is working on. The active task is marked with an "A" and the time spent on that task is incrementally loaded.

System tray icon
When an application is running, its icon is displayed in the system tray. When you hover over the icon, the active task is displayed in the tooltip. Quickly switching the active task The user can right-click on the icon and switch the active task in the context menu.

Task visibility
For each task it is possible to record the project and the type of activity that is performed during the task. As a result, the total time spent performing tasks on the monitored project over a longer period of time can be tracked. In addition to this data, a detailed description can be added for each task. Each request/task has its own identifier (BugID), which makes it easy and quick to find.

Save to database
The time spent on each task can then be entered into the application database along with a detailed description. This is most often done at the end of the working day. The user will see a window with a summary of the measured times. In this window, the user can assign projects and activity types to the tasks.

Viewing data
After saving to the database, this database can be viewed in a separate window. When browsing, records can be filtered by date, project and activity type.

Automatic alert
The user can set the application to ask them at regular intervals if they are still working on the marked task. In this case, an information bubble will appear next to the application icon.

Automatic saving
The time measured on each task is saved to the system registry at regular intervals. Thus, when the computer is switched off, the measured values are stored. The same is true in the event of an unexpected operating system failure.

Upgrade to client-server version
The single-user version of the application can be easily replaced by the client-server version, which stores the data in the SEP database. The user interface is the same as the single-user version.
