Rocrail Revision is a program where you can control the layout of a model train from one or more computers. Train operation is manually or automatically configurable. Rocrail consists of two programs; Rocrail Server and Rocview Client. These programs communicate with each other using TCP/IP, and do not need to be on the same computer.

Because of Rocrail's client-server architecture, checking the layout from any computer or mobile device on a home network or over the Internet is possible.

Rocrail runs on a computer connected to the layout using one of the standard interfaces set up by the computer and supports many controllers.
