Revelo

Description
Revelo is a simple program for registration, control and revision of electrical appliances. It complies with the requirements of ČSN 33 1600 ed.2. The program is developed and tested in cooperation with Revelo's revision engineers.

The Revelo program brings many advantages:

• The data of each appliance is stored in an internal database. These data do not need to be retrieved and re-described when repeated measurements are taken, just recalled from the database. This saves time. By entering identification via barcode, RFID or manually entering an identification number, the appliance data is recalled including previous measurements. The technician only needs to add the measured values and assess the appliance's suitability for further operation.
• The collection of data in the database has the further significant advantage that, using integrated tools, the program assesses in advance when and for which appliances its fitness for service expires and a re-inspection is required.
• In some cases, appliance identification can be conveniently supplemented with automated data collection tools - barcodes or RFID chips. The program supports these technologies. The program includes a tool for creating barcode labels of all common standards. RFID chips are the most advanced method of record keeping. The advantage is the possibility of placing the chip in the housing of the appliance, where it cannot be damaged or lost. This makes it ideal especially for tagging hand-held power tools.
• The program includes a print module, which ensures the generation of reports with the possibility of printing, previewing or exporting the print job to a PDF document. The built-in report designer allows users unlimited options to modify predefined reports and even create completely new reports as needed. In addition to the various types of overview and summary reports, both basic reports are included, namely revision protocol and revision cards. The storage of print jobs in PDF fully replaces physical documents and this is because current legislation allows the use of electronic signatures and thus the documents to be clearly authorised. Electronic documents have their advantages over the printed version - they can be sent by e-mail and thus significantly save time and costs. This will be especially appreciated by rental and service companies, which are obliged to prepare an inspection report for each new rental or repair of an electrical appliance.
• The program is optimized for mobile devices with small display sizes (netbooks with 10" - 12" diagonal and long battery life are very suitable). With this device, measured values can be collected and other data can be stored in the database directly during the physical inspection of appliances.

The program is not tied to any specific measuring instrument.
