PREKODÉR

The converter is used for bidirectional conversion of LATIN II, KAMENICKYCH, WINDOWS, ISO 8859-2, US. Sometimes it is also necessary to remove the Czech characters completely from the file. This is done by converting KAMENIC ---> US or LATIN II ---> US etc. Note that when transcoding entire directories, no file must have a BAK ending. Therefore, before transcoding an entire directory, first delete files with the BAT ending. This is because the transcoder leaves the original files unchanged as backup files with this extension.
