Pianissimo

Pianissimo uses a combination of sample playback and advanced physical sound modelling to create the ultimate acoustic piano sound. Featuring 250MB of Steinway piano samples, it is programmed to simulate the identical response and heat dissipation as a real piano, making the sound indistinguishable from a classical piano. Various resonances, effects such as the sound of a hammer and 256 polyphonic sounds can also be added. CPU usage is low and the above capabilities make this piano seem like the most perfect simulation of a real piano. The sound can of course be recorded and saved to WAV, MP3, WMA, or OGG Vorbis audio files. MIDI files are supported for playback and recording.
