Sometimes you want to be informed about news on a website that does not provide any of the so-called "news feed" services. The command line utility "page2rss" provides you (in conjunction with any task scheduler) with the ability to monitor changes to a selected page and create an auxiliary rss file (from a defined template) on your PC. You can then choose to subscribe to the newsletter.

Yes, we know that there are web services that provide news feed merging, and that there are news readers that can watch for changes on a page. But many of the popular readers don't provide this, and many users also don't want to use merging web services for news reporting. So this utility is one possible solution to the above requirement.
