The entire backup is stored in a single compressed ZIP file . You can check the backup files for errors to ensure data integrity. The backup file can optionally be encrypted with a password to ensure maximum security. Standard ZIP encryption and strong 256-bit AES encryption are supported. Outlook Backup Assistant includes a built-in backup file viewer that allows you to easily view and restore backups.
