MiniEye

MiniEye allows the teacher to check if students are playing games, surfing, chatting and doing what they were assigned to do.

Provides an overview of what's happening on student computers by displaying miniaturized screens of student computers on the network. If needed, the teacher can also view an un-scaled screen of any student computer on their monitor.

Monitoring is friendly to the system resources of teacher and student computers and network bandwidth.

The product consists of two separate applications: a server and a client. The server is for the teacher's computer, the client for the student applications ? so no part of the product runs on the network/disk server.

The server application (hereafter referred to as the server), when started on the teacher's computer, starts receiving connection requests from client applications (hereafter referred to as the client). Once connected, the client starts sending the server the information that the server is requesting.
