Windows NT 4.0 patches are distributed through service packs. With Service Packs, you can keep your product up-to-date and expand and update the features of your computer. They contain updates, system management tools, drivers, and other components. These programs are conveniently packaged for easy download. Service packs are cumulative: each new update includes all the fixes included in the previous update and new fixes. It is not necessary to install any previous patch before installing the latest security patch.
