About Nero Burning ROM
The powerful burning software Nero Burning ROM allows you to burn data, music and video to disc. Nero Burning ROM gives you complete and customizable control over your burning projects. You can - among other things - define the file system, file name length and character set, and you can also change the disc designation. And of course, you can customize the Nero Burning ROM toolbar and change keyboard shortcuts. Despite the large number of features, Nero Burning ROM remains an easy-to-use burning program that lets you create a disc in just a few steps. Choose the disc type (CD/DVD/Blu-ray), specify the project type, add the desired data and start burning.

Using Nero Burning ROM, you can save audio files from an Audio CD to your hard drive. In the process, the files are encoded, i.e. converted into a format that the computer can read. The Audio CD can be automatically detected by the Gracenote database. So-called metadata such as title, genre and track name are detected by the Gracenote multimedia database and associated with the tracks. In this way, you get audio files that, when encoded, are tagged with the exact and complete name.
