Those who were lucky enough to survive unanimously said they first heard some haunting music from afar. And then it came! In the blink of an eye, people aged decades. From one minute to the next, men, women and children turned into wrinkled old men with grey hair and succumbed to death. Pure horror.

Not a day goes by that this plague doesn't find some other victim. It's even gone so far as to quarantine the entire area. I, as chief inspector of the Paris police, have been summoned. I was to go to the scene and get to the bottom of the mystery. The first interviews with the surviving inhabitants confirmed my suspicion. I am now quite certain that this is no ordinary disease or malignant infection. In my opinion, a flesh-and-blood man is behind everything. Someone who can probably compose the music of death! It sounds crazy, but I can't think of a better explanation. I only know one. I have to find this murderous creature before its evil melody kills someone else!
