Lexicon English Agricultural and Natural History Dictionary

The dictionary is the original work of Ing. Josef R. Benes, a translator with a lifetime of experience in the fields of agriculture and biology. During his decades of translation experience, Ing. Beneš has accumulated a vocabulary of remarkable scope within the aforementioned fields. The title contains almost 65,000 entries, 72,000 meanings and almost 100,000 translations on the English side. In addition to a large number of established phrases, the dictionary also includes many detailed Czech explanations that specify the meaning of specific entries in the field. This volume is the result of decades of the author's efforts in researching and compiling translations of agricultural and natural science terms. The terminology included covers mainly the fields of agriculture, forestry, horticulture, plant growing, fishery, hunting, as well as general natural science.

Words in the dictionary can be searched both ways and in any form. The dictionary allows, among other things, the use of the form search function, which can be used to find entries entered in a specific form. Other advanced features include full-text searches within word phrases or searches for passwords entered incorrectly, with typos, etc. The scope and focus of the dictionary make it a unique title and an essential tool for anyone working in the fields of agriculture or natural sciences.
